Summer has officially begun for me, and I'd like to share my wonderful finds so far. I actually purchased a left foot at an estate sale, just what I needed! If I ever find another, I'll have two left feet!
This gorgeous grouping of wallpapers came from eBay. I buy a lot of crafting materials on eBay:
Some of this wallpaper is made in France:
A cheerful bow tie would make a nice Father's Day gift, don't you think?
This charming tin litho table and chairs came from a recent estate sale:
Although unmarked, I'm guessing this was made in Germany. They produced a lot of great tin litho toys:
This buggy came from the same estate sale. The kids look distinctly German to me:
One more view of the wallpaper:
Oh, and the wallpaper paired with some pretty books. I certainly love vintage wallpaper!
My peonies paired with a majolica pitcher and some other items from around my house. I'm experimenting with some photo editing effects here:
I've been trying to get more involved with Facebook, and recently posted some vintage gift ideas for graduates, weddings, and Father's Day.
Sometime this summer I'm going to create a blog post showcasing collections of vintage items that readers submit. If you have an interesting collection, please consider sending me a couple pictures to the following e-mail address: mitziscollectibles@comcast.net. I might also create a post with fabulous vintage finds that readers acquire over the summer, so if you want to submit a picture of something great you find consider that too!
I hope you find some great stuff this week!
